SIA is pleased to introduce an extended range of Grimm Environmental Dust Monitors to the Southern African market. The EDM164 and EDM365 have both proven themselves in measuring the effectiveness of dust suppression systems in and around our clients numerous open cast mines.
The standard 19″ rack environmental dust monitor (EDM) of the series 180 have been tested in Europe at different sites and fulfilled the requirements in accordance to the European regulation for PM-10 and also PM-2.5. Therefore this is the first unit able to report officially both values in the European Union. The company has just concluded a deal to supply the Berlin(German Capital) air monitoring network.
